Our core philosophy is absolute privacy through local, on-device processing. We do not use servers, we do not offer cloud storage, and we do not collect or transmit your personal data.

1. Information The App Accesses Locally

To provide you with the 3D capture experience, the app requires access to certain device features. This data never leaves your device.

• Photo Library: The app requires access to your local photo library to generate 3D models.

2. 100% Local Processing & Storage

• No Cloud Servers: GaussianCapture does not connect to any external servers to generate your 3D Gaussian splats. All complex mathematical processing is handled entirely by your device's internal hardware.
• No Remote Storage: We do not host, sync, or back up your captures. All 3D models, raw images, and project files are saved strictly to your device's local memory.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

Because we do not transmit, upload, or collect your data, we have absolutely nothing to sell, share, or provide to third parties. Your captures, projects, and usage habits remain entirely invisible to us.

4. Your Control and Ownership

You retain full ownership and complete control of the 3D models you create. Because everything is stored locally:

• You are entirely responsible for backing up your own captures using your preferred personal backup method.
• If you delete the app or lose your device without a personal backup, your captures cannot be recovered by our team.
• You can manage or revoke the photo gallery permissions at any time through your device's system settings.
